What We Believe

SCRIPTURE: We believe the Bible to be inspired of God .

GOD: God is the eternal Spirit, infinite in power, holy in nature and indivisible in deity.

JESUS CHRIST: Jesus is the Son of God, God with us, the expressed image of the Father.

HUMANITY: God created humankind innocent, pure and holy. Sin necessitated a savior.

REDEMPTION & SALVATION: Redemption is for all and has been accomplished our Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is initiated by God and calls for our surrender and acceptance. God’s grace is appropriated through faith.

THE CHURCH: The Church is the Body of Christ in the earth and is responsible to declare to the world the gospel of God’s radically inclusive love. Additionally, the church is called to help relieve the sufferings of the disadvantaged; the poor, the infirmed, the orphan, the widow, etc. We hold fast to the spirit of unity, demonstrated by respecting the worth, dignity, freedom, and distinction of every individual.

LAST THINGS: At a time known only to God, Jesus will return to earth. Individually we will stand before our God. There is a heaven and a hell.
